Carnegie Hero Fund Commission

AFD recently learned that Robin DeHaven, the gentleman who helped evacuate several IRS workers from the Echelon building incident, has been chosen one of 21 individuals from across the country to receive the Carenegie Medal. It is given by the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission to those who risk their lives to an extraordinary degree while saving or attempting to save the lives of others. You can read the heroic deeds of all 21 of this year's honorees at http://www.carnegiehero.org/.

Special thanks to BC David Brietkze and the Community Outreach section for helping facilitate this information.
